Renault Kiger SUV India Launch On February 15

• Kiger India launch on February 15.

Just a day after commencing series production, will be launched on February 15. It was earlier anticipated to reach showrooms in March.

Marking Renault's foray into the hotly contested sub-4 metre SUV segment, the Kiger will go against the among others.

Renault is yet to reveal the Kiger's variants but based on the images, we know the top-end model is the RXZ. It will come with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, a 7-inch coloured digital driver's display, an Arkamys sound system, and keyless entry with push-button start.

Safety is taken care of by four airbags, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors with a camera, and ABS with EBD. While it gets two extra airbags over the Magnite, the Kiger misses out on essentials such as cruise control and sunroof. Wireless phone charger and a Philips PM 2.5 AC filter are optional extras.

The Kiger can be had in blue, red, brown, silver, white, and grey. It will also be offered with a dual-tone colour scheme with a black roof.

The Kiger will come with two 1.0-litre petrol units, with both motors being offered with manual and automatic transmissions. Here are the detailed specifications:
