Mahindra XUV300 Petrol-AMT Variants Launched At Rs 995 Lakh Additional Features Introduced For Select Variants

When, it was only offered for the 1.5-litre diesel engine. Well, Mahindra has finally provided the 6-speed AMT AutoSHIFT to its 1.2-litre petrol engine. Like the diesel motor, the AMT will be offered from the W6 variant onwards, at prices starting from Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom). That's a premium of Rs 82,000 over its 6-speed manual counterpart.

The XUV300 AMT's 1.2-litre petrol engine makes 110PS of power and 200Nm of torque. The 6-speed AutoSHIFT AMT gearbox has some nifty tech such as manual mode, creep function, adaptive pedal response, tap to switch, as well as hill-hold assist. Mahindra also offers the 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Aside from adding a petrol variant, the carmaker has also enhanced the top-spec W8 (O) AMT variant with the addition of BlueSense Plus, connected technology. It gets more than 40 connected features such as remote door lock/unlock, live vehicle tracking, Geo Fencing, control of the AC and infotainment system controls and more.

Initially the electric sunroof was a feature limited to the top-spec W8 (O) variant. Well it's now more accessible as it has been added to the mid-spec variants in both petrol and diesel engines with manual/automatic options. Prices start from the W6 petrol variant at Rs 9.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Rounding off the additions are the addition of Red and Aquamarine dual-tone body shades for the W8 (O) AMT variants, and Galaxy Grey for the manual W6, W8 and W8(O) variants.
