Mahindra XUV300 Petrol-AMT Launched At Rs 995 Lakh Additional Features Introduced For Select Variants

When, it was only offered for the 1.5-litre diesel engine. Well, Mahindra has finally provided the 6-speed AMT AutoSHIFT to its 1.2-litre petrol engine. Like the diesel motor, the AMT will be offered from the W6 variant onwards, at prices starting from Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom). That's a premium of Rs 82,000 over its 6-speed manual counterpart.

The XUV300 AMT's 1.2-litre petrol engine makes 110PS and 200Nm. The 6-speed AutoSHIFT AMT has some nifty tech to it, including manual mode, creep function, adaptive pedal response, tap to switch, and hill-hold assist. Mahindra also provides the petrol motor with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The carmaker has also equipped the top-spec W8 (O) AMT with BlueSense Plus connected technology. It gets 40+ features, including remote door lock/unlock, live vehicle tracking, Geofencing, AC and infotainment system controls, and more.

Previously, the electric sunroof was limited to the top-spec W8 (O). Now, it will be provided with the mid-spec variant as well, for both petrol and diesel engines with manual/automatic options. Prices of the electric sunroof-equipped W6 petrol start from Rs 9.4 lakh (ex-showroom). While two dual-tone shades -- Red/White and Aquamarine/White -- have been added to the W8 (O) AMT, a Galaxy Grey colour option has been introduced for the manual W6, W8, and W8(O) variants.
