The above table indicates the iTurbo variants are priced at a premium of upto Rs 70,000 over the standard 1.2-litre petrol equivalent XT, XZ and XZ+ variants. The new top-spec XZ+ variant itself commands a premium of Rs 40,000 over the XZ trims.
As for the price hike, the petrol-powered XE, XT, XZ and XZ(O) see in increment of Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000. The diesel-powered XM, XT, XZ and XZ (O) variants have become pricier too, but bu just Rs 5,000 to Rs 9,000.
The highlight of the Altroz i-Turbo is under the hood, being powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. It delivers 110PS and 140Nm, which is 24PS and 27Nm more than its naturally aspirated counterpart. Paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, 0-100kmph is achieved in 11.9 seconds with a fuel efficiency of 18.13kmpl (MIDC claimed). A 7-speed DCT is also set to be introduced later.
Besides a beefier 1.2-litre petrol engine, the Altroz i-Turbo also adds minor tweaks to the steering and suspension setup, two drive modes: City and Sport, two additional tweeters for the Harman audio system and a black contrast roof.
In terms of design, the Altroz i-Turbo remains unchanged, save for a new Harbor Blue body shade that's also available with the other Altroz variants, starting with the XM+. The cabin comes in a new dual-tone finish. As for the new XZ+ top-spec variant, additional kit includes express cool climate control function, Hinglish voice commands, iRA connected car technology with 27 connected car features, and leatherette upholstery.
