This should come as music to the ears of those who have been waiting for their Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus for some months. In fact, the company is confident of delivering an Ather 450X within a month of the customer booking one.

At present, the new Ather Energy factory produces the Ather 450X and 450 Plus scooter. The company says that, apart from the cells used in the battery pack, the rest of the scooter is manufactured using locally sourced components. So, in effect, 90 percent of the scooter is localised.
