Maserati has made changes to the exterior as a part of its MY2021 update. Design changes are minuscule so one could easily miss the new blacked-out slatted grille replacing the chrome slatted unit of the previous model. The LED headlamps, whose design is similar, now feature adaptive functionality. They are claimed to offer 200 percent better illumination than before. The silhouette and rear-end design is similar, save for the redesigned LED tail lamps that look more angular now.

The 2021 Ghibli also gets new features such as connected car tech, powered tailgate with kick sensor, and level-2 autonomous driving technology.

The brakes, which are Brembo units, come with a regenerative braking function to recuperate charge into the battery pack. The Maserati Ghibli is one finely crafted car, but its entry-level variant costs more than its rivals, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, and the. That said, the exclusivity of the Maserati logo itself is more than enough to seal the deal for buyers looking to stand out from the crowd.
