Maruti Suzuki Hikes Prices Of Swift Alto Vitara Brezza Baleno S-Cross And More
Back in, Maruti Suzuki, like a variety of carmakers, had announced a price hike on its entire lineup. And now, the price hike has taken effect on its Arena and Nexa range of models. The carmaker cites the reasoning behind this on increased input costs. The price hike is dependent on the model and variants. Here's how much more you'll have to shell out for a new Maruti Suzuki model:

The above table indicates that the price hike ranges from Rs 5,000 to Rs 34,000, with the Ertiga garnering the highest price hike. Looking further into the Arena model range, the Alto gets a Rs 5,000 price hike on the standard trim, with a Rs 14,000 increment in the top-spec Vxi+ variant. The S-Presso is pricier in the range of Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 on the VXI AGS and CNG variants.
The Celerio gets a hike between the Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000 mark, with the Wagon R also getting a hefty increment of upto Rs 26,000 depending on the variant. Only the base Swift variant gets a price hike, whereas its sibling, the Dzire gets a price increment in the range of Rs 5,000 for the base variant to Rs 12,000 for the Vxi and Zxi trims. As for the Vitara Brezza, the hike ranges from Rs 5,000 for the base variant to Rs 10,000 for the Zxi AT variants.
For the Nexa range, starting with the Baleno, prices have gotten an increment between Rs 5,000 to Rs 26,000. The Ignis hatchback is dearer from Rs 3,000 to Rs 11,000, with the Ciaz getting a price hike upto Rs 26,000. Only the automatic trims of the XL6 have received a price hike upto Rs 10,000.
Despite this price hike, Maruti Suzuki is offering a variety of this month on all its Arena and NEXA models starting from Rs 4,000 all the way up to Rs 67,000 including separate discounts for the 2020 and 2021 NEXA vehicles. These offers are applicable until January 31, 2021.
