Usually, facelifts come with updates to the car's front and rear end, with the silhouette and sheet metal left unchanged but that's not the case with the facelifted A4. has also made changes to the doors that feature a more subtle detailing. The character line above the rear wheels is also more prominent now. In typical Audi fashion, you get snazzy LED lighting and a redesigned grille that's wider and lower than before.
The A4 is offered in five colours: blue, black, white, silver, and grey.
It might be a familiar sight on the inside as the dashboard layout is identical to the outgoing model, however, the keen-eyed will notice the new 3-spoke steering whose horn pad is a tad hard to reach. The major update, though, is Audi's new 10.1-inch MMI infotainment system which can only be controlled by touch inputs.
The facelifted A4 features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, three-zone climate control, Audi's Virtual Cockpit digital instrumentation, cruise control, powered front seats, and a sunroof. Safety is covered by eight airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, a backup camera, and electronic stability control.
The A4, however, comes only with a petrol engine. Nope, you don't get diesel power, but the petrol motor, in question, is the 190PS/320Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit. This engine drives its front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Mild-hybrid technology is also present for torque assist function.
The facelifted A4 might be late to the party, but better late than never. We recently got to drive it and came away quite impressed. Read our first drive review.
