New Nissan sales and service centres in India

Nissan has introduced 30 new service stations and 20 new showrooms across the country. The company says this is in line with its Nissan NEXT strategy that prioritises and invests in the Indian market for sustainable growth.

Speaking about the new touchpoints, Sinan Ozkok, president, Nissan Motor India, said “Nissan India’s focus is on improving customers connectivity by providing a seamless journey through these company-owned platforms. We are adapting and adopting the changes in the marketplace to strengthen Nissan’s commitment to the Indian customer on product and service assurances.”

Virtual test drives introduced

The Japanese carmaker has also launched a virtual test-drive facility, which is said to be a first-in-industry. This service allows potential customers to take a test drive of the upcoming Nissan Magnite from home on their personal device, along with a virtual sales consultant.

Apart from the virtual test drive, customers can also experience Nissan models via the virtual showroom. The company has introduced a vehicle configurator as well that is said to provide “a seamless exterior and interior experience of all grades, powertrain and feature combinations, including tech pack.”

Express Service introduced

The company has introduced ‘Nissan Express Service’ for customers as well. This service allows Nissan owners to get their car serviced in just 90 minutes. Nissan will also be conducting ‘Nissan Service Clinics’ in 100+ upcountry locations for customers who may not have a service centre in their proximity. Customers can book services and even check costs through the Nissan Service Cost Calculator on the brand’s website or the Nissan Connect app.

Furthermore, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing norms, the carmaker is also offering a ‘Pick-up & Drop-off’ service for its customers.

Nissan Magnite launch

Currently, Nissan India is gearing up to launch its compact SUV, the Magnite, later today. The manufacturer also sells the Kicks SUV and the GT-R supercar in our country.
