A Sensuous Sportiness Evolution
Thankfully, the India-spec 2020 i20 will retain majority of its. That said, it'll feature LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and a smaller set of alloy wheels. Other updates include a new single-piece cascading grille, revised bumpers and a swanky set of LED taillights.
Loaded To The Brim
Another major talking point for the third-gen i20 is the cabin. It's similar to the Euro-spec model with the exception of the Verna's semi-digital instrument cluster replacing the full-colour digital display. It is also set to be loaded with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, BlueLink connected car tech, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, and a Bose sound system. Multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, and a rear view camera are likely to be the features on offer.
Multiple Powertrain Combinations
Under the hood, the next-gen i20 will have 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engine options to play with. On top of that, there's also a plethora of manual and automatic transmission combinations to choose from. That said, its most powerful 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine option will miss out on a proper manual gearbox. Prices And Variants
Bookings for the premium hatchback are open at a token amount of Rs 21,000 that can be done online or at authorised dealerships. Prices are expected to range from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and it'll be offered in four variants: Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O). Hyundai will also offer the premium hatchback in Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Starry Night and Metallic Copper body shade options. There's also dual-tone options in the form of Polar White with Black Roof and Fiery Red with Black Roof.
