Jaguar I Pace bookings open
Jaguar I-Pace bookings have officially opened in India, making it the first EV to be sold by the British brand in the country.
- The I-Pace is powered by a 90kWh lithium-ion battery and produces 400hp
- Jaguar has partnered with Tata power to provide charging solutions to customers
- Deliveries expected to commence from March 2021
Jaguar I Pace variants
Jaguar is offering three variants of the I-Pace SUV in India, starting from the base S, mid-spec SE, and top-spec HSE. All variants get a 90kWh lithium-ion battery and two electric motors, generating a total of 400hp.
Standard kit includes 19-inch, diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED headlamps and tail-lamps, ‘InControl’ connected car tech, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more.
Over and above the standard kit on offer, customers can spec their I-Pace with a fair few optional extras, such as four-zone climate control, an ionising air purifier with PM2.5 filtration, a digital rear-view mirror, and adaptive air suspension, to name a few.
Jaguar I Pace service and warranty
Jaguar is offering a complimentary 5-year service package and 5 years of roadside assistance, in addition to the standard 8-year or 1,60,000km battery warranty.
Jaguar I Pace charging solutions
In an effort to curb the rangeanxiety often associated with EVs, Jaguar has partnered with Tata Power in India to provide home andoffice charging solutions to I-Pace customers. Additionally, a complimentary 7.4kW AC wall-mounted charger will be provided with the car.
Tata Power has also set up an EV charging network in India with 200+ charging stations, called ‘EZ Charge’, which I-Pace owners will currently be able to access across 23+ cities.
Jaguar I Pace rivals
The all-electric I-Pace will rival the Mercedes-Benz EQC in India, and when it launches, the Audi e-tron.
