Audi To Hike Prices For All Models From 2021

• Audi currently offers the A6, A7, A8L, Q2 and the Q8 in India.

• New prices will be effective from January 1, 2021.

• Audi's next expected S5 Sportback later this month.

• The facelifted Q5 , Q7 and the e-tron could launch by the end of this year or January 2021.

Buying an Audi car in India is set to get pricier from January 2021 as the carmaker has announced that it will be increasing its prices of all its models. The models affected will be the A6, A7, A8L, Q2 and the Q8, with the entry-level model (Q2) currently retailing from Rs 34.99 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Audi has decided that the price hike for all models will be up to 2 percent, with the reasoning being due to the currency fluctuations and rising input costs.

The carmaker has had a pretty busy festive season with recent launches of the Q2 and the Q8 Celebration. The Q2 retails in the country with a price tag from Rs 34.99 lakh to Rs 48.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Q8 Celebration on the other hand is priced at Rs.98.89 lakh (ex-showroom), with the standard variant of the Q8 retailing at Rs 1.33 Crore (ex-showroom).

Audi is set to continue its launch spree with the S5 Sportback that's expected later this month. Aside from that, the facelifted Q7 and Q5 along with the e-tron electric SUV are expected to launch within the time period of December 2020 to January 2021.
