has streamlined the variants of the Marazzo and it is now offered in three trims: M2, M4+ and M6+. The top-spec M8 variant has been axed from the lineup. While the first two variants are pricier by up to Rs 1.01 lakh, the top-spec variant is up to Rs 1.18 lakh more affordable than before.
And while we're yet to receive the detailed variant-wise feature list, dealership sources have said the Marazzo M4+ now features a Bluetooth music system and alloy wheels.
The Marazzo BS6 will be powered by the familiar 1.5-litre diesel engine with BS6 upgrades. An RTO document has that this powertrain still develops an identical 121PS in normal mode and drops to 100PS in Eco mode. Just like before, the Marazzo will be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Marazzo will also be offered with a petrol engine soon. It will utilise the 163PS 1.5-litre mStallion petrol engine, which was displayed at Auto Expo 2020. An automatic is expected with both the diesel and the new petrol in the near future.
This is majorly a mechanical update and we aren't expecting any design changes. The Marazzo sits in between the and doesn't have any direct rivals. It will lock horns with Ford's upcoming MPV based on the Marazzo as well as a new Maruti-Toyota MPV that's under development.
