Hyundai Venue Crosses 1 Lakh Overall Sales In First Year

And now, the carmaker has revealed that the Venue has garnered over 1 lakh sales in just one year of it being launched in India. Around 97,400 sales were domestic, with 7,400 sales in the international market.

Out of these figures, 15,000 sales of 1.0-litre turbo petrol variants were the ones paired to the 7-speed DCT transmission.

Originally, the diesel option for the Venue was a 1.4-litre CRDI unit at launch but it received the new BS6 1.5-litre diesel engine when BS6 norms kicked in. Aside from this, 30,000 units sold came with Hyundai's BlueLink connected car technology. Only the SX (O) and SX DCT variants are offered with connected car tech as standard.
